My Approach and Training
I am a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Windsor. Over the past five years, I’ve supported children, youth, and families in both community and private settings.
I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). I also have specialized training in children’s grief, and extensive experience in crisis intervention and suicide prevention/life promotion. I am a member of the Canadian Association for Play Therapy and am currently in the process of becoming a Registered Play Therapist.
No matter what challenges your family is facing, my role is to provide compassionate, professional support so your child—and your family as a whole—can thrive.
If you’re ready to take the next step, you can book a parent consultation online, and I’ll meet with you first to discuss your family’s needs and how I can best support you. I look forward to hearing from you!
