My Approach and Training

I’m a registered social worker with a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University and a decade of experience supporting children, teens, and families across Windsor-Essex in community and government settings, including Family Respite, Children First, and Windsor Women Working with Immigrant Women.

I draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Focused Therapy, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), and Parts Work—tailoring our work to each child, teen, or family’s unique needs. For families, I integrate Circle of Security® and Triple P Parenting® strategies to strengthen connection, communication, and confidence at home.

I work from a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming lens, creating a calm, relational, and non-judgmental space. My focus is on helping children and teens develop emotional language, inner trust, and coping skills, while supporting parents and caregivers to feel equipped and empowered. Together, we explore emotions, untangle patterns, and build strategies that help your child (and your whole family) feel more grounded, resilient, and confident.

Ready to take the next step? You can book a session online (for yourself, your child, or your teen) and we’ll start exploring what’s going on together. Whether it’s making sense of big feelings, learning new ways to cope, or strengthening family connections, we’ll figure out the best path forward together. I can’t wait to meet you!
